Mavic are one of the oldest established wheel builders in the world dating back to 1889 starting off as a company supplying spare parts for bikes. Mavic have been at the fore front of road wheel innovation and building since their creation but it wasn’t until 1983 when they produced their first off-road wheel. Mavic now produce one of the lightest Aluminium clincher road wheels complete with carbon spokes. In 2008 Mavic produced their own branded style of pedals and clothing range. Mavic supply many Pro tour teams and the British Track team with their wheels.
