 Ridley Bikes was started in Belgium by the highly skilled frame builder and painter Jochim Aerts in 1996. The company grew quickly and has been associated with professional cycling teams such as ; Pallmans - Collstrop, Predictor - Lotto, Silence - Lotto, and for 2009 new team- Katusha, who have rising star British rider Ben Swift riding for them, alongside top internationals Robbie McEwan and Filippo Pozzato.
